*Foundational Essays in James Joyce Studies*.

I am having a Joycean festival: those recurrent periods of the year when Joyce is all that I read and study for days. I usually center on Ulysses and Finnegans Wake and works of scholarhip on them. While James Joyce and the Phenomenology of Film by Cleo Hanaway-Oackley (Oxford University Press, 2017) it is quite dull and boring, and not to be recommended, there is one important book on James Joyceʼs œuvre recently published at a cheap price in Kindle. It is called Foundational Essays in James Joyce Studies (University Press of Florida, 2011, ed. Michael Patrick Gillespie), and as the publishing note says, “this is a volume that no serious scholar of Joyce can be without.”

 Have a Joyful day, pals.
